Entering the world of blogs!
There is so much to tell, so much to communicate and so much we can accomplish. This is now a world of instant communication. Imagine if we set out to really use the idea of the Internet to move ideas forward? What could we accomplish?
Imagine the men who gathered to sign the declaration of independence in 1776? David McCullough in his biography of John Adams writes about the road to Philadelphia;
"In the cold, nearly colorless light of New England winter, two men on horseback traveled the coast road below Boston, heading north. A foot or more of snow covered the landscape, the remnants of a Christmas storm that had blanketed Massachusetts. Beneath the snow, after weeks of severe cold, the ground was frozen solid to a depth of two feet. Packed ice in the road, ruts as hard as iron, made the going hazardous, and the riders, mindful of the horses kept at a walk."
"Dressed as they were in heavy cloaks, their hats pulled low against the wind, they were barely distinguishable even from each other."
The trip would take two weeks and the conditions were grueling and yet John Adams arrived to meet his colleagues of the First Continental Congress and so did all these great men gather.
The concept of advancing thought and human conditions had no barriers that those with passion would not bare. Can you imagine what they could have done with the Internet?
Today we have the ability to instantly communicate and formulate and advance our thoughts. We have the ability to combine our thoughts and advance the human condition around the world. Yet we use the Internet for the basics of shopping and social networking without considering what we can achieve.
Brian has provided us here at Zaadz an environment for forward thinkers to gather and exchange ideas. This website is a real opportunity for us to get behind ideas and principles that are important to us and gather energy to make changes in the world. So many of us have voiced our thoughts and wished we could have more influence and ability to effect change, well here it is!

My personal passion is self development, teaching others how they can effectively take action in their lives to improve and change their circumstances. I'm Devlyn Steele (http://lifecoachadvice.com/aboutdevlyn.html) and this is my entry into the world of Internet Blogs. I must admit I am a little nervous because of what Andy Wibbles writes in his new book
"Blog Wild!" "Blogs are like heroin for writers."
Yes, the access to publish your thoughts and ideas in an instant and then exchange ideas with others and get feedback, will I have any part of a life again? LOL
I will have to learn how to control myself. Although my profession as a Life Coach is dedicated to Self Improvement, this blog is intended to be more of a personal blog with thoughts on many subjects. Basically whatever comes to my mind at the moment and when I am not working on one of my other sites.
http://toolstolife.com/ will soon be hosting my blog dedicated to self improvement along with the launch of our exciting guided self development program Tools To Life. I'll tell you all about that another time.
In the meantime hello and I'm glad to be here and hope I can provoke a few minds and exchange some good ideas and let's all start making connections and effect positive change on the world together.

My dad is the typical “oh no……stay away from the internet…..it is evil” Even though I am a grown woman; I still get drilled by dad. But like life………..the internet is what you make of it.
Zaadz has been a part of my life for a while now and I can truly say that I am a better person because of it. I have come to know many peoples from many places……….all whom which care about mankinds future. What a blessing. My mind has been widened to so many new ideas and old ones as well. I welcome them all……take them all in……and spread them all on…..with love.
Thinking Positive is not always as easy said than done……..but here is an old cliche often said by my grandmother: Practice makes perfect!

With the rising popularity of virtual communities such as MySpace, I'm hoping that Zaadz will grow, but still maintain its individuality and purpose. I'm a MySpace user myself and finding it a little difficult to get into Zaadz for some reason..but I'm going to have to make extra effort to make this my home. On the strength of Zaadz mission, I want to become more active.

I second that.. speaking as a late teenager/young adult, i feel most youngsters are currently suffering from despondency, lack of will and so on.. young people have become detached and blaze and are far less atomical and reactionary.. maybe Zaadz can be the breeding ground for a new wave of not only free thinkers, but also go-getters and achievers..

I agree with you, Devlyn. The Internet has connected people and their cultures, societies, myths, and countries, into a global village. We can connect and converse with anyone, anywhere, in the twinkling of an eye.
